That's not even that bad of a decision because plenty of people do this the cops eventually they will listen or find somewhere around it but at the end of the day they decisions had nothing to do with the dude pulling out a gun and the fact that the officer shot everybody mean that is both a bad decision on both parts when do pull the gun that got everybody else killed in a police officer shot at everybody thinking that armed and dangerous when it really was one person so I don't really see the police officer doing his job the best way to me because mainly he just kind of opened fired at everybody regardless of how you see it two people had no weapons one was armed if you think the police officer did right because they refused to listen to him don't give him the right to draw but the guy that pulled a gun yeah because it was self-defense for the police officer but everybody else got caught up in it and no he did not do a good job to avoid the ones that had no weapons

Well the officer did escalate by asking for the passengers ID which isn't necessary. He also did come off with an attitude about the Marijuana and didn't give the driver time to figure out his papers. One thing at a time officer. Let him get his papers and go do what you need to do with them and if he drives off then you'll find him later bc you got his license plate and papers. Then address the Marijuana smell and ask him to do a test. Can he cross his eyes? Are his eyes red? Is he having difficulty multitasking? Etc. The police Officer just bombarded this guy and overwhelmed him, which being stopped by police today is overwhelming in itself bc of cops like this guy. And you don't know if you're gonna come across a driver with a personality disorder or whatever. The police is missing humanity and common sense.

When I watched this I was momentarily stuck in a memory. My uncle was California Highway Patrol in the late seventies when he pulled a car over for a broken taillight. As he approached the car the driver stepped out and began shooting. He was shot several times but still managed to pull his weapon and shoot the suspect, return to his vehicle and call for help. He spent a few weeks in the hospital but got an infection that is particular to gunshot wounds and passed away. My dad, his older brother, was devastated along with his other siblings. His wife and children never recovered, with his son eventually committing suicide. There’s a lot of negative talk about the police these days but they put their lives on the line even with a simple traffic stop. For those who are wondering…. He was a kind person who carried his family on his back. He managed, like my dad, to climb out of abject poverty while surviving an incredibly physically abusive dad. ( my dad came close to dying on one occasion) He wasn’t privileged, he wasn’t aggressive, he was a good man.
