Three big reasons for the failure of Indian2: 1. Accidents leading to deaths during the shoot that led to a lot of legal issues to deal with and the blame games between various departments spoiling the cameradie. 2. Covid lockdown leading to erratic schedules and callsheet problems with Kamal who had launched his party then and wasn't showing enough interests in the film. 3. Fight between Lyca and Shankar over the budget after 2.0 didn't deliver the kind of profits they wanted, and the team micromanaged him during the shoot and forced him to make it into two parts, making Indian 2 look avg, with all the rich contents going to Indian 3. So Game changer will be a typical vintage Shankar film.

My favourite tamil writers Balakumaran and Sujatha (Rangarajan) were behind all Shankar movies up to Robot movies.
