Bro, I just did the same thing missed by two pins. 6 game set I was ahead of the pack and threw a 173 last game wiffed two makables the last game (including 6/10 in the 10th) was clean until then. You have great style and a great roll, don't get down and focus on the positves which were alot. Then focus on what you did wrong mentally so you don't fall to the same nonsense again. You are a superstar!!! On your way!

Great bowling. I know how it feels. I have bowled in the same tournament 16 times, and every time I was going to make the step ladder until the final game. I could just not get it done. Then a week ago, finally I made the step ladder. I went from 5th to 1st. I finally won a solo tournament. Just keep your head up my friend. You are an amazing bowler.

I know you’re hurting especially after performing so well in the other games, but at least you know where you went wrong & that’s good. This is an obstacle you need to overcome. When I bowled I had an obstacle I’d thrown a 6 pack 5 times & just couldn’t get the 7th one. But one day after yet another 6 pack I thought to myself “I’ve been here before” so I calmed myself down, cleared my mind & threw a flush strike, if I can get over this obstacle SO CAN YOU. Another positive you can take away is the stuff Darren Tang drilled for you, it’s made a BIG difference, it’s improved you significantly.

Bowlers if you change anything in your game always check your pap. I use to work in the pro shop industry and my boss at the time I will not mention his name but he is one of the best ball drillers ever. He told me that most of the time when you change anything your ball roll can change. So check you pap. Mine changed by half an inch when i changed pitches in my fingers.

Definitely a horrific way to finish the tournament, but you have a lot to be happy about. When you keep that ball on your hip, your roll is looking insanely powerful. 5% of the time it looks like your right-arm gets away from you, and this might be why you missed those 1-pin spares? But, once you iron that kink-out, you will have a foundation with endless potential.

Rooting for you, man. Sorry this one didn't quite turn out for you. You bowled well. Yeah, the last game was off your pace. But, honestly, there were other balls in your earlier games that would have covered the 4-pins you missed the cut by; the 4-pin on lane 2 at the 10:55 mark comes to mind. I say that, not to make you feel bad, but hopefully to help you not beat yourself up over the last game. Bad games happen. But making the most of every shot, even in better games, will help cover the stinkers.

I’m not Forrest, but I’ve bowled many regionals in my life. The biggest thing (and hardest) is you just have to stay emotionally flat. You can’t let one bad shot or one game get you down. You have to be able to balance your emotions. And don’t be afraid to make ball changes when you notice the lanes are transitioning.
