On June 18, 2018, the rapper XXXTentacion, whose real name was Jahseh Onfroy, life was tragically taken during a robbery outside a motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida. On that day, he visited Riva Motorsports to look at motorcycles. As he was leaving the dealership, he was approached by two individuals in a dark SUV. An altercation occurred, during which XXXTentacion was shot multiple times. He was subsequently taken to the hospital but was pronounced dead shortly after arrival. The incident shocked fans, leading to an outpouring of grief and tributes to the young artist.

I remember in an interview, his mom said he went out the day before and got some candles. Those same candles were the ones they used to do the night ceremony on where he died. They just saw him withdrawing a large amount of cash at Bank of America, carrying it in a branded bag, and flaunting that gold chain. Also realizing he was a famous person at the Riva Motorsports dealership only made him a more high-profile and primary target. Could have been anyone else that day as their victim if X had just intended to buy the vehicle on a loan instead of cash upfront.
