Tragic Tale of Australia's FIRST MOSQUE

Australia's First ever mosque was located in Maree in the outback of South Australia.
It was built by the Afghan cameleers who were brought down by the British to help establish the railways and connect rural Australia to the major cities, all of this showcasing how Muslims have a rich history in this land.
Considering This history. Wouldn't this make an Australian Muslim so proud, thrilled and happy?
But those that we interviewed who visited this mosque, were not as happy as one would think. So we asked them about their trip to the first of many Masajid in Australia.

Back in the day over a century ago, it was not easy for these isolated people to keep themselves educated in matters of deen. In the beginning they had a few knowledgeable alims, but in time they passed away and no one took their place. Now in our time the internet has made long distance learning accessible to even those in remote regions. With the internet one can listen to lectures, learn salah, keep in touch with the local Islamic centers and associations, etc, etc.🌼

Amazing history that we don’t know enough about. I’m a Christian but it’s so tragic that they’ve lost their religion.

If you want to see how much muslim parents put importance on their children's deen is from school, especially those which in area with very few muslim. At first, none of my son's muslim friends go to friday prayer and one of them even said that his mum doesnt want him to miss his important class. If that kid grows up seeing Islam as less important than his school, work etc then we know why.
