Hell yeah. An album to surpass Impulse and Augment.
@notstarboard7 жыл бұрын
They have potential, but Impulse and Augment are in a different league. The instrumentals are solid, but neither vocalist does it for me. Having a female vocalist is definitely refreshing, but she doesn't stand out. The screams aren't good at all either, which is a big problem with this comparison. Garrison Lee was god-tier.
@Aequilix7 жыл бұрын
notstarboard My main concern is the instrumentals. Part of why I don't like Drift as an album. The sound in the instrumentals was a pretty draftic shift from Augment.

Some titles of the songs remind me of Final Fantasy XIV (which is my favorite game). Like "Warrior Of Light" and "Stormwolf". Heart is my favorite album this year, I've been waiting to hear something like this for a while! And I really love the fact Garrison is on a track. "Tunnel Vision" hit me really hard. Cheers to such a masterpiece!

Yeah its hard to put a name to it, but in my experience the best bands usually fall into multiple categories. Best I'd say is maybe progressive metalcore and alternative rock with post-hardcore elements but some pop elements sprinkled in. All I know is that it's amazing

These lyrics are masterfully written, but im curious is there a theological aspect behind this? Some of the songs can definitely be seen through a theological lens but its also open-ended enough to be more metaphoric and symbolic. Loving this album so far

Hammerhead Productions Thanks so much for asking! I tend to write lyrics pertaining to my faith in God. Every song has a deep meaning to Alan & I. Our desire is that others will find inspiration and hope from our songs.
@hammerheadanimations56897 жыл бұрын
I KNEW IT! The first couple of listens I didn't know most of the lyrics but heard several verses relating to faith in God but wasn't sure, but I had a feeling. I'm a huge lover of most things metal/post-hardcore/hard rock but I'm also a huge christian so whenever I find a band that incorporates their faith into their music I am immediately captivated. You guys have tremendous passion and such a beautiful combination of talent and skill. I know you guys will go far, you've already got a fan in me! Cant wait to order my copy of the album, God bless!

Alan whats your favorite Gundam series and your favorite mobile suit? I'm actually into Gunpla and have a decent amount of the Real Grade figures. Some of my favorites are Astray Red, Exia(And all its evolutions like 00 Raiser and 00 Quanta), Freedom/Strike Freedom, and good ol' RX-78-2. This album cover reminded me of how you had a Gunpla figure in your room during the Augment album teaser trailer.
