MTG Random Buy *Under $50 Challenge* eBay collection

Here's my half of the Buy War with another KZbinr, Gentlemansfury. The plan was for each of us to buy a Magic the Gathering lot on ebay under $50 and post the results as a little competition. Anything over 50 cents counts toward the total.
Unfortunately, I have not heard from him in 2 months so I'm just going to post this before the pricing gets even more out of date. (This was recorded and priced in November of 2018)
If he ends up contacting me with his results I will post a link to Gentlemansfury's video here.

#1 FAQ - Scanning app is the TCG Player app, available for Android and iPhone. I use an app called Vysor to cast my phone to my PC, then I use Xsplit to capture the parts of the phone I want to show.

Fetch can be used to smooth out your draws. And the taiga was probabily there for sideboard

Never made that much on a small lot. I think the biggest profit on a small lot was about £20. Most of these are snapped up quickly these days.

You did surprisingly well for something that looked like it could have been entirely bulk and proxies! I might have to give this challenge a try sometime😉 What sort of clamp / tripod are you using to mount your phone horizontally?

Fetches are used in mono x aggro deck to thin lands so you draw more action

the taiga was also in there for when you sideboard in ancient grudge, and fetching to thin is always worth the life, increases the chance you draw gas rather than flood with lands

I think at some point I changed it in the settings on the TCG Player app on accident. It doesn't affect the pricing.

Next time be careful what language the app detects. If I see this correctly, half of your cards were scanned as Chinese instead of English. I know it's a ton of work changing sets and languages for each and every card, but it might matter some times a LOT.
