Honestly, people tend to underrate Curry's playmaking, but on that last Draymond lay-up: if Curry had passed it earlier - Draymond would have had to dribble thus giving the defense a chance to get in position. Instead by keeping the ball while moving dangerously towards the basket, and giving it up at the right moment - he guaranteed the basket. Edit: The Curry - Draymond short roll is deadly.

Steph Curry is everything James Harden wishes he was in the playoffs. Contact or not, he's making the shot.
@kevinbradshaw14205 жыл бұрын
Maybe he's just a much better shooter. And that alone is the difference. Cause if one guy is the greatest distance shooter ever and the other is just a touch above average, the difference is just that one is more likely to go in. That being said, make fun of harden for turning the ball over against on an inbounds play in the 4th quarter of an elimination game.
@brendankane41865 жыл бұрын
@@kevinbradshaw1420 Know what's crazy? This regular season I think James had the second or third most threes made behind Steph's 400. He had like 378 and Steph and 350 something. But James did his on more games and on more threes. They made the same amount pergame, but Steph shot 11 and James shot 13. Harden played like 20 more games too.
@kevinbradshaw14205 жыл бұрын
@@brendankane4186 Yeah Harden shot a crazy high volume of threes. Harden is a weirdly unique player. Can drive a team's offense for 82 games almost by himself. His failures in the post season have more than one cause. This clutch shooting comment is nonsense.
@b-radg9165 жыл бұрын
3s (high seasons): Harden: 378/1028 (36.8%) Curry: 402/886 (45.4%) Harden's accuracy is way lower. At 1000 shots, each 1% more accurate is 10 more made. I think if he focused more on making his shots instead of how he's going to flop or try to draw a foul he'd be a much better (and more likeable) player.

A lot of it comes down to GS having the luxury of smart, crafty role players, who can also score when called upon. There bench hasn’t been as good in last 2 yrs, but the ability to have 3 guys (Klay, Iggy, & Green) who can guard multiple positions, switch on picks, then cause crossmatches on the other side of the court is underrated. It’s why GS is so affective on converting turnovers, and can even score on made shots. It just puts opposing coaches in horrible situation. You know what the problem is, but can’t find a solution given how effective GS is with different lineups
@amusingfollower5 жыл бұрын
With that luxury comes as well the expectation of maintaining the standards that this dynasty has set as well. Any league champion will tell you how much harder it is to maintain championship status than reaching it. Gotta give Kerr and his coaching team credit too, at least we know that GS isn't underperforming with their talent. The same can't quite be said for some other teams.
