TRAIL BOUNCING SAND HOLLOW - Chutes and Ladders

This time on Trail Bouncing we loaded up 5 Busted Knuckle Rock Bouncers up on a transport and shipped them out to Sand Hollow, Utah for a week of Rock Bouncer Trail Riding. Sand Hollow State Park in Hurricane, Utah is known for it's hardcore rock crawling trails. Will our Rock Bouncing buggies be able to do these technical rock crawler lines? Stay tuned and find out as we start the trip off with a run up Chutes and Ladders Trail which is a level 10 Trail in their 1-10 rating. There is also 11-14s which require rear steer and 14s being they have been attempted but not completed. We will have more Busted Knuckle Trail Bouncing as we hit new challenging trails each day for a week!

Yes, you are right! Out here in the west, the traction is amazing! And that’s what I love about hitting the trails here! Then when I watch many KZbin channels back East. And I see them hitting obstacles & trails & they’re struggling to get up them! I’m scratching my head & thinking it should be easier then what they’re struggling with. But, it’s because, back East the traction is way different, it’s very slick there! Two very different levels of traction!

No doubt about that. With all the traction out west you just have to hit steeper obstacles to make it interesting.

You got that right. If you took the exact same trail on the west coast, covered it with moss, and where did everything down, add a bunch of trees in downed logs, and the obstacles are many times harder. We always hear people say, “ air down and crawl it”. Its just not a thing most of the time here

There is low and high range. We use more wheel speed on the east coast so they are geared a little high for technical rock crawling on the West Coast.

Absolutely not. There were some sketchy sections that were super off camber. I would much rather belly out than flip over. Some of those sections were right on the edge of a cliff. My heart still races thinking about them.

I like both. I just find it way more fun to hit stuff with speed. I also really like being able to climb Technical trails and also hit the sand dunes and go fast on dirt roads. Our buggies are really well rounded. To each their own for sure, we watched the rock crawlers for a while it was really impressive.
