I’m glad a youth organization like this exist I remember in the BSA I became an Eagle Scout back in 2008 and over the years I’ve seen the decline of the organization I used to love it’s good to know that alternatives are popping up that I hope carries the original principles of what the BSA used to be about

Well, at least they’re not trying to hide the fact that getting back to patriarchy and male dominion is the real focus of TL and the subservience of women through AHG. Thank you for making it so clear.

Being equal image-bearers of God (a status God assigned) has nothing to do with non-equal ABILITY God gave each of his children...ability in no way diminishes a person's value or status...whether male or female. God made us, therefore he gets to set the rules. I see no where an example where God or Jesus raised up men to have a higher status as an image-bearer. In fact, when men were not doing their God-given job, God partnered with women to fulfill the roles that men didn't want to do (e.g. Deborah O.T. and Mary N.T.) of course paternal roots are what God established to preserve his family line throughout the generations...there is never a wonder about the maternal lineage of who gives birth. That is something ONLY a woman can do...her ABILITY is God given...to bring life into existence, which man cannot do. Again, ability does not equal status. Value and Status of men and women = equal before God. Abilities = not equal before God, identifying and revealing uniqueness in design and purpose.

@SemperFidelisFreedom2. I love and appreciate what you shared. It would be nice if this was the message of the TL and AHG program(s), but Pat and Patti made it clear that this level of mature biblical womanhood and manhood is not a part of the ideology. There is still the 51% ratio which is essence of patriarchy 101…which. Is. What. The. Program(s). Re-Enforce. I mean, it’s what they admitted to. @DavidEgesdal don’t see how this is a loaded statement when it is the declared 10th Anniversary Statement of TL/AHG. I’m legitimately glad that they are at least being up front about putting patriarchy back at the top of biblical values. People should know what they’re getting when they sign their sons and daughters up for the program.

​@@markblakeman1306You got a problem with Heritage Grils being mostly run by women? If you don't like the way things are, Scouts will gladly welcome you! This is run biblically and wonderfully! Much appreciated by this mama who is involved as a registered adult. But I know and appreciate that only men can show boys how to become men and so I gladly do not try to assume the lead. Look around at all the boys missing their fathers, our entire society is crumbling and this is a huge reason why. Each sex has it's own calling. Neither is less or more important and this constant notion that unless women are doing exactly what men are doing then its not good is actually saying women's roles are not good in a backhanded way.
