Trail of the Mounties (1947) | Full Western Movie | Russell Hayden

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police's Russell Hayden investigates the disappearance of a fellow Mountie in a district plagued by fur thieves, unaware that his lookalike brother is the gang leader. Meanwhile, the latter dresses in RCMP uniform and commits a series of crimes which are blamed on his Mountie brother.

Really enjoyable entertaining, but too bad it ha a sad ending. I h never seen this one either. Thank you for posting it. I really still enjoy seeing these Mounty movies! Good to see Russell Hayden in it. Like seeing him in the Hopp A-long movies too.👍🎥🍿

thank you thank you for a russell hayden b-western i had never found!!!!! i have now seen 13 of russell hayden's 18 b-westerns. the 5 i have never found are Frontier law 1943, Silver City Raiders 1943, Wyoming Hurricane 1944, Last Horseman 1944, Where the North Begins 1947, in case you can find any.

Jennifer Holt gets a " pants " role in Hawk of Powder River a few years after this Mountie movie. Jennifer stated that Hawk of Powder River was her favorite because she " wears the pants "; not here . She would look great dreat dressed in a Mountie uniform with those fancy , striped jods tucked into tall riding boots !
