For anyone doing the swap I wanted to mention you don't need the bumper kit it's already comes in the box for free. If your on a budget too you don't have to buy the pivot balls plastic ones are included in the box that's sufficient enough for the whole build also if you remove the rear right shock mount and swap it with the drivers left you can use that as your panhard mount and don't have to buy one. The link kit part number above didn't seem to be the right one but made it work for the build. The other issue I ran into is this instruction guide is missing the details on where you obtain some of the hardware from I just made it work off the old ifs system. I run a full size 3s battery and with the weight of that battery up front the ifs springs seem to be efficient enough to handle the extra weight but I did end up swapping for grey springs for the extra flex. Tip remove the spacer on the shock body and it will count as the steering arm spacer you need and give the straight axle even more flex. Last thing I did have to tinker with all this setup to make it work properly

You guys should sell the needed parts as a kit. That's so many part numbers! I might have to buy another enduro anyway since I don't want to ditch the ifs. I've been extremely impressed with my first element tr so far. Awesome design and the included od gears and printed garage in the box are an awesome touch! My next truck will definitely be an element. Nice work guys!

Knight Customs makes a clearance kit for the IFS. It is very much worth a look if you wish to keep the IFS system and still have the capability of a straight axle truck.

@@TrillMurray If you're interested, check out BigSung Hobbies channel. His latest video is the clearance kit on his Nightrunner. It's impressive. There are also a few videos I've seen from other creators of the kit install that breaks down all the parts and what not. Pretty informative.

@@natev580 okay, thanks again! I really appreciate it! My enduro runs in my local class zero against a bunch of tf2s so it's already overkill since I've kept the body lexan. The ifs is the reason I bought an enduro so I definitely want to keep it. I'll go check out the video!

@@natev580 it looks pretty awesome. I've bought some other files from Knight customs and was very impressed how well designed they were. I think I might give it a try!

Love the solid axle only having trouble finding the panhard mount, video was actually pretty helpful when you pay attention with the converision kit and a manual. Cheers

Def need to put out a kit with all the parts required for the knightrunner. Looked at doing this but don’t know which silver links will work that match the rear

Is there any other solid axle kits that work or does it have to be this one?

You are definitely going to need/want to take that bump stop off the shocks as well. That bump stop severely limits your shocks travel which the ifs needs to keep the cvd dog bone end within the drive cup from going so far it binds and destroys both parts. When you leave those in with the solid axle you will losing almost 25% of your shock travel. I noticed you guys left them installed.

Yes. We did remove the spacer as you can see in the very last shot. The shot when swapping out the springs we used, didn't show this. Unfortunately we caught it after posting. We do mention at 1:34 on the parts that can be reused, that the shock spacer is one of them.

probably the most vague video ive ever watched , literally does not help anybody when you skip over everything putting it together . and i also ordered the front link set for my runner and did not get any of the same links in the video …. so thanks for that also . guess im putting back on my IFS
