This WAS a crazy ass season for the Blazers. Let’s review: 1. Collins injured 2. Hood injured 3. CJ and Whiteside kinda slow to start the season off 4. Dame dropped 60 points on Kyrie and still lost by 7 or so, proving he’s doing everything in his 6’2 power, and that he needs Scottie Pippen- and Dennis-Rodman-like help. 5. They get Melo outta NOWHERE (even though Dame was the most vocal player in the league about how they did Carmelo wrong way before this happened, so in a way it’s fitting :)) 6. Got Ariza, providing defense and another score option 7. Kobe reincarnates into Dame for about 10-15 games, including a 61 point masterpiece 8. One of those games is a triple-double on WESTBROOK, HIS ON-COURT NEMESIS 9. Another one is the BS no-goaltending that was pointed out throughout the league, they’re playing with only 7 available players against the Utah Jazz, on the road, and still only lose by 3 because of a BS CALL??!! Legends. They did so good this season. And Dam casually dropped *only* 42 that night. 10. Dame gets an All-Star 1st team selection and invited to the 3 point competition of course. 11. Injures his nuts or something, still performs with rapping at the weekend. 12. CJ steps up and shows us he’s still a wizard 13. COVID hiatus Bubble: 14. They win 6-8 with both of the losses being decided by 4 points or less down the stretch, against Boston and the Clippers no less. Dame, and NURKIC IS BACK DOING HIS THING SHOWING OFF NEW TRICKS AS THE DOUBLE BOSNIAN BEAST. So is Collins, yay, but also ehh. 15. Gary Trent Jr emerges into a viable threat. 16. Melo has a clutch three down the 4th quarter stretch in EVERY. SINGLE. ONE. of these games, no exceptions. 17. Paul George and Pat Beverly awaken Dame’s Jordan-like energy, and the entire NBA world knew what was coming the next day. Every single one, in the comments. Blazers fans, Westbrook fans, Clippers fans, 76ers fans, Lakers fans.... everyone. 18. Homie drops 51 the next game, then 61 against Doncic and Porzingas 19. They only needed to be within 4 games of Memphis, and had less games to do it but SURPASS them instead. Decided on the last shot of their season, with Lavert missing. 20. The first of its kind, a play-in tournament and they dust off the Grizzlies with ease. 21. They beat the Lakers in Game 1. 22. Series is tied. 23. Dame gets injured, still drops 34 the next game, and then gets injured again somewhere else. 24. At that point we all knew it was over but CJ still drops 36 in place of Dame, and down the 4th quarter stretch they come within 2 points. Amazing effort, Portland Trailblazers. People that know, know, this was phenomenal. Why did they trade 7 of the players that got us to the Western Conference finals last year, I’ll never know. We could’ve used Curry, Harkless, Aminu, and Meyers Leonard while Nurkic was out, Ut whatevesies.

This video actually makes me feel better about not making it to the second round. When you really think about it, this was one of the coolest and most entertaining seasons yet. So much that the blazers had to go through, and so many people saying they wouldn’t make the playoffs, yet they continued to fight through it all. There are a lot of teams out there but I think rip city fans are the luckiest fans of all to have a team like this one. At least that’s how I feel

injuries, bench, and coaching - try other things/plays next year please, dame's life could have been a lot easier, team should not resort to superstar heroics. this said, still a good run, made the playoffs again thanks to the players, on to next year, harder mountain to climb in the west, we will get that chip, go blazers

exactly! it feels like there are no plays to be made when cj/dame/melo arent making impossible shots in isolation plays

Considering all injuries and the roster always changing not really getting that chemistry all season long. I'm proud of the effort of the whole team and lillard not quitting till the end. I hope we can get a healthy squad next season and really see this teams and individuals full potential.

Gotta figure out way to defend. Rest will come. Hopefully Stotts will work on this, vid not, maybe he needs to go, and not for some other recycled fired coach either. But, when shots weren't falling with Lakers, and ball was handed to Melo, he slowed tempo down, and either scored jumper, drove and dunked, or defense collapsed and he dishes to a C for dunk or open 3. Blazers gotta notice in that 3rd and 4th quarter slow grind, feed down to Melo. Offense gets created. Over all, great season considering all set backs. Hopefully whiteside and ariza can be kept
