Great talk. Good to hear of the genesis of March for Jesus. Thanks Graham for your years of faithfulness, and as Eugene Peterson says, long obedience in the same direction. Your humility is still evident in the talk. May you have fruitful years ahead

My husband and I had lived in Japan and then came to England. In the bible college all the students were singing your songs without displaying the words. They all knew the words off by heart. We did not. It was a steep learning curve. It was 1988. I loved going on a march for Jesus in the town. I made a banner.

I remember Graham coming to college to perform The Blame, in the 80's. It was very moving. Thank you Graham for your ministry - and for using your talents so generously.

I am so grateful for Graham Kendrick’s Spirit filled lyrics and melodies which encourages me to keep on walking with our Lord Jesus closely day after day; Never Once, God to the Poor, Teach Me to Dance...etc. Graham’s Worship at Home songs especially reminds me that we are ALL in this together. And God is with us and for us. Thank you for sharing your conversation with us.

Songwriters like Graham Kendrick and other writers of the songs from Mission Praise played a big part in me wanting to be a Christian since I started going to church and enjoyed singing hymns... then the more modern hymns and choruses made the worship more exciting, simple and relevant. The late 1980s and early 90s was a hard time with growing up issues but praise music lifted me up and gave me hope to keep going, and I hoped it was not just religious escapism(!) I suppose the first thing it gave me was a desire to play enough chords on the guitar so I could sing choruses in a few keys, then later I wished I could write songs too.... just got my 402nd song on my list finished last weekend, not sure how many are very good though! Not many good enough for my church to sing. It's going slowly now, more fun songs rather than praise & prayer songs, but perhaps with a bit of a serious message in the fun songs too. I thought I had run out of inspiration after 399 songs last summer but didn't want to leave it at that!
