@@TrailBoundco - Haha! I owned an ATV back in my teen years about 25 years back. It was a birthday gift from my father and I am pretty sure the tires were worn out in 6-months. I bet I was on that thing at least 5 hours a day, 7 days a week, if not more! I rode it hard for at least a year before moving to my mother's cross country and leaving it behind. My father rode it for two more years before he sold it.

You’ll love it. The ethos are so much better. All the ratios just work. I’ve got a 21 EC 300 and love the thing. Been on all sorts of KTM bikes over the years and this feels the best by far. Rode the Beta when upgrading last year and gave it back after 5 mins. Just felt totally wrong for me. Big tip though. Depending on your weight you will have to do springs front and rear. I’m 115kg loaded and the bike felt like rubbish. On the KTM with pds rear I’ve always gotten away with it but not on this bike with the linkage rear.

All due respect, just an FYI in case it ever comes up again. Air intake charge goes from the reeds into the bottom end and is then pushed up into the top end via the transfer ports when the piston goes down. Common misconception that it goes into the top end first. You may have known that I and I just heard you incorrectly. Just wanted to share that little bit of info I learned over the years, I have learned a ton from your videos and I wanted to give back a little.

The accumulated wear and tear from hard enduros is amazing. I used to enter 8-11events a year. Local timekeeping enduros and a couple of cross country events. I would swap dirt bikes every couple of years and not do anything to them when it was time to sell. They would show major signs of wear on the plastics and minor wear on the frame, forks, wheels or seat. Hope you share what the Gas Gas like when you are ready to sell it.

I use a '1' finger clutch lever too, that's part of what makes it work for me.

@@TrailBoundco Still in CA? The ccps is the crank case pressure sensor. It's one of two pressure sensors that sit in the tray below the two stroke oil tank. Sir don't get rid of the front pipe get it either pulled out or hook a pressure washer to it and pop the dents out as it's similar to hydro forming using water pressure to turn a flat pipe into a 3d pipe... Block off the header end with a bit of plate steel then hook up the pressure washer the other end with a tight fitting clamp (take the end can off) and use the pressure to pop the dents out easy with no heat needed (though you can also use some heat if carful to really get the crease out) Sounds complicated but a KZbin video will show you what I'm saying... save the pipe don't throw it sir...

@@razorsedgeadventures6599 I always start mine while I gear up. I let the left rad get nice and warm. Depending on outside temp the fan temp says 110-150 degrees by the time I’m ready to ride. I putt around for first few minutes.
