Trailer: Boxe Boxe - Compagnie Käfig

Sadler's Well and Spitalfields Music present Compagnie Kafig's hugely popular Boxe Boxe as part of Spitalfields Music Summer Festival
Choreographed by Compagnie Kafig's artistic director Mourad Merzouki, Boxe Boxe combines contemporary dance, live music and martial arts, to explore the theatricality and brutality of boxing. Around the eight dancers, string quartet Quatuor Debussy, use music by Schubert, Ravel and Glen Miller to sustain scenes and underpin the melancholy of this work.
