I guess now that XXC exchanged his life so that MXL could come back to life again, his soul returned back to demon lord Zhao Ming? Is that how Zhao Ming was able to break free from the chains? I have faith that MXL will be able to bring the good side (XXC) out of Zhao Ming. Zhao Ming was a good emperor. He didn't turn evil until he thought that Pearl betrayed him, similar to what happened with Sang Qi.
