A battery hold down is to keep the battery firmly attached to the box to prevent excess bouncing that can cause the internal connections to fail.

@@5speed406 that's fair. Might brainstorm some things for this. Trailers can be pretty bouncy

That solar panel next levels the whole project, I'm taking notes

Best of luck with that tape. Phoenix has taught me to favor magnets over adhesives. I did a similar mod over a year ago on my pj buggy hauler. I used magnets to stick a solar powered battery tender to the lid of the tongue box. I also have a set of marine grade leds I store in the box on magnets as well so when loading/unloading at night you can stick them to the trailer anywhere you need.

That's genius. If the tape lets loose, I'm copying you 😁

Great job. I bought almost the same thing. I made a stupid jackknife move backing up my trailer and put a major dent in the box. What were the other things you added besides the solar panel? Thanks.

@@jackhuddleston6830 just the stuff in this video so far. I'd like to add a hook/snatch block at the end of the trailer so I can pull things off of it too.

@ ok thanks. I will watch the video again and wright down what I need.

@jackhuddleston6830 FM Jeeping made a setup like this as well with a larger toolbox and better lights. The tongue jack is super handy so far, although I might support it if I want to unhook with any serious weight on it

Awesome video man and that is a sweet trailer. Once I finish my jeep I need to get my trailer fixed up I think I’ll be doing this same setup

Work in progress for me. I have the design, I just need a shirt company. Also, just reached my 3000 hrs so now I can sell stuff right from yt. Just not sure if it would hurt or help my Rep.

Hey, about your neck, try this, it fixes my tight/stiff neck. Use a finger and massage under your collar bone, you might find a tender spot near the center of the collar bone that hurts some when massaging or pushing. Maybe the left or right collar bone, but do that massage and your neck may feel better in short order.
