Youngone, the leading global outdoor and athletic clothing, manufacturer has contracted system integrator Hyundai Movex to provide a complete logistics system for their new distribution center. It includes three Interroll Modular Conveyor Platform (MCP) installations and one horizontal Crossbelt sorter. The system was designed to meet the continuously increasing demand on The North Face outdoor fashion online business and department stores especially during peak times in summer and winter.
The technological breakthrough for highest inbound and outbound precision thus ultimate warehouse management was the RFID inspection gates installation, which the Youngone Team, together with their partners, Hyundai Movex and Interroll, developed. All traffic is accurately checked and managed and will be constantly tracked till it leaves the distribution center for its final destination.
Interroll’s Crossbelt Sorter allows accurate distribution to 200 stores during single operation and the capacity is up to 8,000 pieces per hour.
