“Forests Underwater by Takashi Amano” is the Oceanário de Lisboa new temporary exhibition, that will presents the largest and most amazing “nature aquarium” in the world.
The exhibition will immerse visitors in the magnificience of tropical forests as they are part of their balance and envolving them on their conservation.
The masterpiece of Takashi Amano reveals the concept of beauty in (im)perfection of the nature shaped by time, providing an experience of contemplation, relaxation and simplicity that in this exhibition will be accompanied by an original music of Rodrigo Leão, a Portuguese famous musician and composer.

ABOUT TAKASHI AMANO
Takashi Amano is a nature photographer who travels to tropical forests all over the world, capturing the harmony of untouched landscapes. He has become an international expert in freshwater aquariums through his planted aquarium creations, known as “nature aquariums”. His exceptional art recreates nature, mixing Japanese gardening techniques with the concept of wabi sabi, which honours the interplay between beauty, simplicity and imperfection. Takashi Amano believes that paying careful attention to nature can help us better understand the world, and learn to preserve it.
