Actually, after the Halifax Explosion in early 1917 (2 military ships full of ammunition collided in the harbour, and blew up Halifax) Boston sent a train full of doctors, nurses and medical supplies. They really helped rescue Halifax that day. NS sends a tree every year ever since as a token of appreciation. Sorry about the book learnin.

About a hundred years ago, there was a massive shipping collision in a harbor in Nova Scotia, which caused an explosion that killed hundreds of people and set the city on fire. Boston sent a massive amount of aid overnight as soon as they heard about the disaster, and Nova Scotia has sent us a tree every year since to say thank you for the help during that time.

Halifax has a great history with Boston after the biggest non nuclear explosion destroyed the city and Boston sent medicine, nurses, dr who helped save many wounded's eyesight from cut glass. Halifax has sent a xmas tree to Boston as thanks to commemorate that assistance for over 100 years.

They were there just to entice people to get them hooked and then come over to Swearnet where they originate. Though they never made that clear.

I'm from PEI but I lived in Nova Scotia for many years and I've been watching Trailer Park Boys and following these guys since the first season. I've met all of them and I'm close friends with some of the people that have worked on the show as well. I have a swearnet account obviously but I like coming back on here and viewing some of the older stuff once in awhile.
