Hey everyone I copied this recipe that was on AGP’s computer and made it and it was amazingly delicious. Don’t follow how Grandpa is doing it. Follow these directions and ingredients with the exact measurements. Pause the video and click this part in the video; 4:26 For once Micheal’s recording actually was useful for once aside from having the amazing funny videos of AGP 😂😂😂 (Grandma Green’s Lemon Pound Cake) First preheat the oven to 350 degrees * 3 cups all-purpose flour * 1/2 tsp baking powder * 1/4 tsp baking soda * 1/2 tsp salt * 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter at room temperature * 3 cups sugar * 6 large eggs at room temperature * 1 tsp vanilla * Grated zest of 2 lemons * 1 cup sour cream at room temperature * 1 cup fresh lemon juice * 2/3 cup sugar * 1/4 cup water * Zest of 1 lemon Grab a pot or a mixer and lay all of the ingredients by order in the pot. When dropping all of the ingredients together. Grab a electric mixer and mix until everything is incorporated together. Grab some bread pans and pour the mix into as much as you can into the pans. Now put the cake in the preheated oven for 30 mins or as much mins as you need until it’s cooked. It’s good to keep an eye on the cakes. So don’t move away from your kitchen. When baked, take the cakes out of the oven and let em sit there until cool. Lay the pound cakes on a baking rack and let them sit for about 12 mins so the cakes don’t fall apart when you start cutting in them. When too hot the cakes start to fall apart because the cakes haven’t sit long enough. After I recommend you sprinkle a bit of powdered sugar. Delicious! Enjoy! If you have leftover and you don’t have enough bread pans left. You can pour the leftover mix into a oily baking pan and cook it a little longer then how you would cook the regular sized pound cakes.
