@@gadsdenconsulting7126 that’s how I store my 16x8x 10klb trailer. I use some 4x4 blocks on the rear to help with being able to lift high enough to let wheels lift in the air.

I have the swivel version (Curt 28302) welded to my car hauler. What I did was cut the crank handles off and welded on a 13/16 bolt head (same size as my lug nuts). Now I can use an ugga dugga gun on them AND the handles aren't sticking out. I also welded a deep socket to the cutoff handle so I still have the option plus an emergency lug wrench in the toolbox.

Great ideas! In the past, I welded bolts on the tongue Jack to speed lifting the tongue up and down, but never thought about doing it to the trailer jacks! And using the handle with a welded on socket as a backup is really smart. Hey thanks for watching and for your feedback 👍

I built ramps similar to yours , but added support legs to do the job you're doing with the jacks . I did already have a single jack welded on but the support legs require no extra set up they're just there the moment you lower the ramps. The ramps were about 90lbs like this which is not real bad mounted on the hinged rails ,but I still mounted a ramp lift spring on them so they lower pretty much on their own and raise with 1 finger .

Did u make a video? I would really like to see that. I wanted to weld supports like u did but i worried that they might be too tall and jam on opening, or too short and not contact the ground in uneven terrain. Have u found that a problem?

@@anesthesiadreamin No I'm not much on documentary videos. The legs don't need to touch completely just be an inch or so off the ground when you load them they will drop and touch. I built my ramps based on how the heavy duty utility and equipment trailers are built . The assist springs aren't necessary but a finger lift and lower for a 90lb ramp is nice .

Good question! My guess is the suspension would sag out too much, but I havent tried it yet. Thanks for the idea!
