What a cracking ride this looks, it was made by the weather though and lack of walkers I expect. Has definitely inspired me to get back out and ride more in the Lakes after lockdown has lifted. As I am sure it has for a lot of riders. I expect it will be busy in the Lakes when we can all get out to play again. Love the video and commentary, keep them coming!

Thanks rich. Yes it was a very enjoyable ride was this. I’m lucky that I have a job where i can take days off through the week. It’s at these times I visit the lakes. Wouldn’t even attempt it on a weekend. Way to busy (unless you start very early)

Excellent Andy, enjoyed that. Love your videos, the scenery is always top notch (goes without saying) but always like your chilled style and the example you show to all mountain bikers on trail etiquette. You are always friendly, cheerful and polite (on video at least 😁) that shows those who would wish to paint us all as yobs as the polar opposite. We are all out there wanting the same thing, to enjoy being in nature. 👍

Hi Andy. Firstly many thanks for the directions on finding the map data, really great having it available. Just wondered if it would be possible going forward, to add a brief comment 9or something) on whether you think the route would be suitable for an ebike (distance / elevation effect on battery or hiker bike situation because of weight) PS. Love the channel. Me & the Mrs cant wait for your updates on KZbin. We have a Motorhome & are starting to plan our weekend stays around your routes, so thanks
@TrailFinder4 жыл бұрын
Jim Dyson wow Jim. That’s awesome. I’m over the moon that I inspire you to get out and enjoy these rides. Firstly you do no that I don’t own an ebike don’t you?? So have no idea how much battery someone would use on a climb! I tend to show all the boring hard bits in my videos and not just the best down hill parts. So it’s easy to see if a certain ride is suitable for you. Most of my rides are suitable for an ebike if I can do them on a normal bike. Any parts of the ride where I’m carrying or pushing my bike I always show in the final edit. So that should be a good indication to you if it’s something you could do 😁
@jimdyson29634 жыл бұрын
Thanks Andy. Trust me you don’t have any boring bits in. I know you don’t own an ebike but as you get older, you can never say never. Mine keeps me riding so that’s all good. Keep up the good stuff
