Mariabell does resemble the attitude of Weissman to the letter. Both are despicable bastards who are only in Ourobouros to achieve their own goals. In Mariabell’s case it’s her Ars Magna project, the ultimate goal of the Crois alchemists. Weissman’s was the complete change of humanity’s nature to eliminate imperfections (which is why Campanella allowed him to die). Honestly, besides Vita herself, how many Anguis are actually on board with the Grandmaster? Even Arianrhod was just using her for her own goal and Campanella implied that the professor was driven by his ego (which is very much like Schmidt).

Olivert was as useless as he ever had been. His appearance changed nothing. Even worse. He distracted Musee of executing her plan to destroy Crimson Arc and let everybody to escape in turmoil. So Osborne was the man who literally saved them by calling Cedric off. Otherwise they all will be dead without doing any harm to enemy. Actually I don't even understand what was the reason to revive him. Rest of the scenario he is just an useless figurehead.

You could say Musse is a “useless figurehead” too considering she created a plan Aurelia runs on her own without her input. It’s less what he can do on the field and more how many people are willing to band under his banner.

In the Crossbell games, she’s hostile to Lloyd because she’s possessive of Elie and hated that Lloyd was constantly together with Elie due to working together, in CS4 she says “Love you, Elie” in the Prologue and in the bath event with Duvalie, Sharon and Angelica, Duvalie says Angelica is the same as Shirley (pervy towards women) and Sharon says that both Shirley and the Third Anguis (Mariabell) are well-known for acting the same way.

Look at the list. Ernest was controlled by Gnosis, and ultimately when he wasn't he was doing what he THOUGHT was best for Crossbell, even if it meant putting a coin in the Empire's shoes. Dieter and Ian likewise were acting exclusively for Crossbell's well being. Now look at Marconi and Joachim - both were selfish, apathetic beings who only saw their own benefits (Revache's profits and the completion of the D.G Cult's ideals). Neither cared one lick for Crossbell. Rufus also likewise doesn't really give a toss about Crossbell that we can tell. Ergo, Lloyd has no fucks to give.

the guests characters are so bad in this game, they are so freaking slow. The exception would be Joshua and Renne.

I came here to say I stacked the stupid guest characters with the locked equipment and quarts and 2 FUCKING MOVES, on the 3rd boss battle and raged hard. Least they could of done is give them a Hit 3 or Rage gem on them but NO, maybe some fucking status effect prevention.

He IS a sidekick. By this point of the game he became Rean’s servant in a sense, since Ordine was defeated by Valimar and turned him into his servant Knight. He also knows he is living on borrowed time, which kind of sucks the motivation out of anyone.
