Look How Lucky I Got! Train Approaching With Horn Blowing around curve and look what I see about 9:00. Includes train station update, CSX train with caboose and Norfolk Southern trains in Hamilton, Ohio. CSX auto racks train that empties the auto racks yard. Tanker train crossing bridge at the interchange for CSX and Norfolk Southern.
Yes, I got lucky to catch the train race between a CSX train with a caboose and a Norfolk Southern intermodal train. All of the trains in this video are seen on CSX tracks. The Norfolk Southern line from Hamilton to Crescentville, Ohio had a huge maintenance of way project taking place. See my video of the maintenance of way parade.
Look how different the wye looks without the old train station. We see a train going around the wye at the vacant lot where the station used to stand. We also see the new location for the station and the progress of putting it back together and restoring it.

I should have known there were two when they called out a clear signal on Track 1. The first train I saw with the caboose was on Track 2 so when they called out the signal on Track 1 I should have known there was another train but I had a brain malfunction. lol

You can visit the Beuchel train station at Louisville Kentucky. There is Norfolk Southern Railway and BNSF railway line and a union pacific railway line at the train tracks And there is two tracks at the station

At 8:46 you pointed your camera at the signals and they indicated 2 trains were coming from the same direction. The right top signal was an approach yellow and the left middle signal was green. Could not see what the indication was on the top signal. Great video, caboose too.

Thank you for another video compilation of trains in Hamilton, Ohio, Jaw Tooth! The two trains coming around the "S" curve at 9:18 was a surprise and unexpected. The train of empty auto racks is the second long auto rack train that you have captured recently. I like the update that you added on the work that has been done on the restoration of the depot. I see that they have lowered the buildings to the ground and filled in the holes that they cut in the foundations of the buildings. I hope you have the chance to show us more depot restoration in the future.

That auto rack train comes up through Indiana into western Cincinnati and through Queensgate yard every day.

There are two Ford plants in Louisville and a GM plant in Bowling Green, Ky. The auto rack trains that don't pass through LaGrange and DeCoursey take the LIRC to Seymour and then west to Queensgate.

I sure am glad they added that caboose. A couple of other CSX jobs that had cabooses stopped using them. The one along the Ohio River hasn't had the caboose in over a year

I agree. RR Video of the Year‼️🚂 If you live to 100 you’ll never top that catch. Side by side, and the lead train has 4-5 cars of frames… see through. The train Gods wanted to reward you for your love and effort at railfanning! Put that in a 30 second short and hit a million. That was just AWESOME! I watched it 3-4 times when it came out, and I just watched it 3 more. I took a screen shot of the 2 side by side and it’s the key picture on my train folder. Greatest train memory going. I lived in Hamilton on 747 in Port Union. We had to go into downtown Hamilton to get our Marriage license. Fun fact about Hamilton, they made a law that its official name had to have an exclamation point after it. Hamilton! Lol. I can't even explain why I enjoy watching the trains but I do so thanks!
