I have never worked on the railways when I was a 13 year old boy that was around the time wen I was going on the trains with my friends we use to buy a ticket called the rail ranger it cost £1 pound and you could ride around all around greater Manchester from 7am until 12 midnite all day loved it back in the nineties wen there was old types of British railway trains Electric 3 carriage overhead EMUs they were my favorite ones all blue with all yellow at the front you could slide the windows down and hang ur head out of the windows not a good thing to do wen these trains were going at speeds of up too 75 mph I am getting a little carried away texting this because it was brilliant anyway at last lol what I am getting at is wen we used too be on the platforms at Manny Piccadilly station sometimes if a long 13 carriage intercity passenger train was at the station it would have too wait for a locomotive to come and be coupled up to it so we would watch a workman get down in between the carriages and the locomotive to connect all the wires air brakes and couple it up the guy was in a very very dangerous tight spot it was so crazy because he could hardly move in between the carriages and loco because our trains are not has wide and high has the Indian trains but still 122 tonnes of loco and 44 tonnes of carriage he was in between I though wow one little mistake and this guy could be killed or severely injured i like the Indian trains and boy are they fast anyway a massive godbless to all you train fans, x

The coach you see in the video is an ICF coach, its very old and was a swiss design, ICF coaches are too old now and they being replced by LHB coaches, they are German, and they are higher than ICF coaches, more spacious, bigger suspension, and higher in length. But i dont get it why trains there, as you said are lower in ground clearance,
