I had to take the original video down and repost it. A freight car had some pretty bad graffiti on it and I couldn’t figure out how to remove it. I cut out 7 seconds and redownloaded the video.

Plenty of varied and older Freight cars but the now frequently seen flat cars are going back to Quebec for aluminum ingots and since Covington is so close to Cincinnati plenty of Hometown gondolas from DJ Joseph. That's an impressive older Steel Bridge but those tall sides also can hide unsavory or downright dangerous people. We love the location shots but we also would like to see you come back safely.

Fun fact: If you look at the lights on the railroad crossing, you’ll notice that they will keep getting dimmer until they completely disappear and then keep getting brighter until they’re really bright over and over again. This is caused by the KZbin frame rate of 60 FPS almost perfectly matching up with the electrical frequency of 60 Hz. I forgot the name of this specific effect, but it’s the one that makes car tires appear to be spinning backwards.

In the mid 90's i saw an entire 81 car consist of nothing but those big boxes being high balled at 50+ mph. All graphetti free. Miss those days

I remember your first posting of this video, Jaw Tooth! I know that I added a comment to the first edition of this video however, I do not remember what I said in that comment. I do remember that I said something about liking the "Chessie the Cat" logo and that I wished that CSX would go back to using the "Chessie the Cat" logo on their equipment. It is a shame that you cannot replace a version of a KZbin video with an updated version and leave all the comments from the original version of the video on the revised version of the video. I did enjoy watching this revised version of the video!

Looking at the pictures of the derailment, I wonder if there wasn't a bypass on the switch: the front bogie of one car went onto one branch of the Y, while the rear bogie took the other branch of the Y.
