One of the most viewed train horn videos on youtube! A collection of all my favorite train horns I've recorded over the years. Leslie RS3L and RS3K first, then Nathan K5H, K5LA, unknown K5HL and K5LLA for last. Made some improvements to the original recordings, slowed them down and what not to try and make them as good as possible.

You don't know how happy I am to hear this. It reminds me so much of someone I loved many years ago. I can sometimes hear the trains coming through town here when I have the AC off, but they don't last long enough. Again, thank you so much. You have made a senior citizen extremely happy today.

My 2 year old son is OBSESSED with trains blowing their horn as we live very close to a major frequented train track. He gets so excited and happy when he hears them and I’m so beyond happy I found this cuz tonight he missed the trains and he was bummed out until now! I thank you for this! I used to live in California as a teenager and I’d always watch Hey Arnold every night at 10:00 exactly. Then the military national anthem played every night at 10:00 also. But, the most relaxing sounds was just thinking and looking at your window at the night sky when the train horns roared. That was just beautiful, every night near 11:00 you can hear the train horns honking loudly while just watching the stars.

I love the sound of a train. It carries a haunting sound of moving into the abyss of space with no time yet time will change your course. I was a little girl, maybe three, when my life changed profoundly as I boarded the stairs and moved far away. I had no idea at the time that the train whistle would be forever etched into my life as a symbol of the family that disappeared from me. This mystical sound will be a huge part of my upcoming film, "Eugenea's Story." I can't wait to see it on screen.

I kinda like train horns. I notice them in the wee hours from maybe 1 to 4 a.m here in Richmond, VA. Probably coal going to the NS terminal in Norfolk. Not sure of the chimes but they are not all the same - I'm just learning the sounds.

I've always enjoyed trains. Not too much of a fan of subway trains, since you stop and go every 30 sec or something. There is no traffic, you can eat, nice view and you can relax.

In Indonesia, the loudest horn of the CC206 locomotive is called Puong, it's just called PPKA, so cover your ears. Just as loud as the flute of the Poung train in Indonesia. There is also Bader, the CC201 melodious horn
