Hi girl, Hope you're well. The reason why many women (excluding pick me-s) put up with bad behavior is because the men are funding (a sizeable chunk of) their lifestyles. Whether it's the college girl on Seeking or the wife who removed herself from the workforce to raise the kids, the women are dependent on the men's finances. So until she plans and executes her exit, she is trapped. Which is why women need: 1. Their own money 2. Property in their name only 3. A solid prenup or cohabitation agreement which specifies her stuff remains hers and what compensation she gets upon separation 4. Her own car in her name, paid out of her account, especially to escape abusive situations 5. A friend or family to fall back on till getting back on her feet, or at least enough money to stay in a hotel for a couple of weeks when making her exit. Buying a condo and renting it out is wonderful tactic, the rent takes care of the mortgage payments, it's an asset that can be sold and the money used in old age or hard times, a legacy to give to your daughter and a place for you to go to if the primary residence is hostile.

Deep down I believed I dont deserve better. I improve slowly.
