He could see car for 100 meters releative to the motion of him and car so use relative speed/motion concept Relative speed = 100/(4*60) = 1.5 Km/Hour after unit conversions So car speed is 1.5+3 = 4.5 Kmph 18. Similar concept but take Length = Relative distance + train lenght = 1.2 + .3 Km = 1.5 Kilometers Answer = 51 Kmph

Solution of 18th question distance will be distance between train and man + lenghth of train =1200m+300m=1500m and lets take speed of train as X then relative speed become (X-6) beacause train and man ki direction same hai.. And time is given here as 2 min. We will covert time into the seconds by multiplying it by 60 = 2x60=120 sec. Now we know that Time =Distance÷Speed 120=1500÷((X-6)x5÷18) By solving this you will get the value of X=51 k/h

Sir, Qs 5 solution is wrong. And we can never get the correct answer if the train run in same direction. They have to run at opposite direction to satisfy the conditions.. If they run at the same direction, then it will be like " i am chasing Usain Bolt"..

Typing mistake in question No 5, the second train should be running in opposite directions to get the correct answer ie 36km/h. But if it running in the same direction, the answer is -36km/h

Actually the question itself is fundamentally wrong since a relatively slower train can in no way cross a running faster train, right?
