That shot of her looking out at the city is very interesting. Assuming these are memories from the Gestalt pattern she is based off of, she must have a lot of conflicting feelings looking out at the city. It might just seem like a bleak, brutalist urban cityscape, but to some part of Elster, it's home, right? Nostalgia for a place she's never been too. Bittersweet, with extra emphasis on the bitter.

I am not certain it feel like home for her since LSTR neural pattern is from Vineta, water world cities must feel different from Rotfront. The memory come from Arianne, but then maybe Elster felt it thought her perspective.

@@evlynmElster's Gestalt may have been Lilith Itou, who was most likely the lover of Alina Seo. Of course, this is just speculation, but it's still very probable imo (all bc of that picture in the Itou Bookstore). Lilith was related to Isolde Itou, and might have met/knew her family at some point. Her old home on Vineta was most likely destroyed, so she and Alina may have decided to settle down on Rotfront after the war--maybe even live in the same Sektor the Itous lived in, before worst came to worst for both of them.

Чёрт... Совмещение 2D анимации и 3D - действительно очень качественно и красиво✨ Недооценённый бриллиант! Damn... The combination of 2D animation and 3D is really very high quality and beautiful✨ An underrated diamond!

You can practically feel the torrent of emotions Elster feels after appearing on the train. Desperate to reach Ariane, but failing to. Feeling the same sadness, loneliness and sheer oppression of Rotfront and the Eusan Nation as she did. 1:05 - _OPERATION PENROSE. LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS._ We'd all angrily tear that poster down, too. This is such a beautiful, well-done animation 🖤✨

@@amychan811 Yeah, the worst part about it is that I almost cried at that part on my first playthrough. I think it's because I listened to that song before I played Signalis.

Rise and shine, Miss Elster. Rise and... shine. Not that I... wish to imply you have been sleeping on the job. No one is more deserving of a rest... and all the effort in the world would have gone to waste until... well, let's just say your hour has... come again. The right woman in the wrong place can make all the difference in the world. So, wake up, Miss Elster. Wake up and... smell the ashes...

I just finished the game yesterday, and before this song always hit me particularly hard with how emotionally charged it sounded. Now that I understand and see this animation, it's hard not to tear up over this. Great work.

I suffer from intense bouts of hatred for those who I deem wicked. I have seen too much proof to simply not despise those that I have deemed wicked and therefore cannot control these emotional outbursts. After these outbursts, however, I feel low, depressed, exhausted & useless. I do not know what to do with my hatred. I have no proper outlet as I live in a household with other people and if I were to simply scream it away it would distress them, so instead I just bottle it up until there is no more room. My hatred is spiked by things like current worldly events, my inadequacies & games. I surmise the greatest fix for this would come from kicking the shit out of my computer and selling the spare parts, never playing on it ever again, but I use it as a safe space from the real world, which I have come to hate & fear in equally-great measure. I am at a loss. Sorry for putting this here but I thought stuffing it all onto a random video's comment section that is filled with people enjoying the presented content that are busy discussing it/exclaiming their love for it (and therefore will not bother to reach such a longwinded passage of essentially nothing) the best quick-time relief from the plight that I have described in the presented text. Have a good day and pay me no heed, I will not respond or interact with this page anymore.

I know the OP said they wouldn't interact with this comment anymore but on the off chance that they see this...i wanna say i feel exactly the same. The anger and hatred for those I have deemed in my perception as wicked, all intensified by my own shortcomings and not being able to express it at home, i feel exactly the same way. My only escape though is through my computer. A silly little machine but it has shown me so much media, taken me to places I could never visit through a small monitor. One media being this game. This game for me is ultimately about suffering or the never ending effort to end it, something I often seek out in my own life.
