This brought back some fun (and not so fun) memories from our train ride from Cairo to Aswan in southern Egypt, in 2018! But the scariest experience we had there a walk through the old city of Islamic Cairo. Our guide took us to a dark room in a mosque (he said it's important) and threatened in the darkness us to pay a "ticket" fee! We spun around and raaan out before they closed the door on us from the outside. Scams are everywhere! 🙈🙈
