Dude, learn how to save steam 😅 you can run this loco at 20 or 25% cut off (reverser) and 40 or less throttle and haul anything, while keeping your steam pressure up. As your pressure falls, so does your speed.

Maybe it's a stupid question, but what exactly is the reverser? Is it a mechanical gear principal or a pressure valve or something in that direction? I just try to understand 😅, you seem to have knowledge about this 😋.

@@ld5144 An inverter, or inverter, is an electrical or electromechanical device capable of converting a DC electrical signal into an AC electrical signal. However inverters only exist in electric trains.

@@ld5144 The reverser, is the term for the lever or wheel that controls the inlet/exhaust valves in the cylinders. The reversers position dictates how much steam can enter/exit at what rate. You generally give locomotives full valve travel starting off, and then cutting off the travel as the loco gains speed

Your better off getting this version if you get the pc version of train sim world 4 cars float above the road and if there is a hill they merge into the road and sometimes they are seen driving on the sidewalk the train goes under bridges that it shouldn't be able to because the cargo crates are stacked to high that part of the bridge is not solid so you see the top cargo crate going through the bridge

I like playing this type of games and was lucky enough to be given a PS5 for free. I got myself Train Life.. Comparing both games one thing that strikes me as a negative to me.. The PS5 versions of the games have a significant lack of scenery compared to the PC versions of the games... It just looks to much like an arcade game..

Trust me you don't want the pc version the trains in the pc version are more detailed than the cars on the road cars actually float above the road and if there is a hill they merge into the road instead of going over the hill cars are also seen driving on sidewalks trains go under low bridges that they shouldn't be able to because of the cargo crates being stacked to high when the train goes under you see the top part of the crate going through the bridge because it is not solid like it should be I've seen all this in train sim world 4 but I'm not sure how the pc version of train sim world 3 plays

It's a Stanier Class 8F. Freight varient with a different 2-8-0 arrangement with smaller driving wheels over the more commonly known 2-6-0 with larger drivers
