Nice commentary, watched it while on the ICE 126 from Frankfurt to Amsterdam and the route into Frankfurt looks very good to the real life. 300km/h on this ICE.

The GNT offers an increase around 8-9% wich isnt a full replacal to the 10-12% of lost time on Bee-line distance , but it gets a fair bit of it back The german : Bad usually is refering to Bath or [of place] , usually since theyve been located near a spring, where when there wasnt fully clean running water out of the tap they were local bathing destinations that had bathhouses siphoning from the mountain filtrated watercreeks The route vibes are a mix between Mainz koblenz and Riesa imo

You do not actually have to acknowledge speedboards and signals that limit your speed to 100km/h and above, because those aren't equipped with PZB magnets. Mind you, there is sometimes a TPWS style contraption of a sequence of PZB magnets to check that you aren't speeding before entering the new speed limit

Theres a brake curve of the start of the speed limit , down to the speed limit(usually in a way thats a near uniform brake cuve at most boards) plus 5 KMH above to account for minor variance since tracks arent often in a consistent slope

shame they dont have any scandinavic routes some routes in norway are absoulutely estanoshing some even call it the best nature train routes in the world but unfortently they soooooo long even in irl they are way to long some of the train routes takes upon 12 hours xD
