Train Sim World: Using a Controller

I’m was a freight engineer and now a passenger engineer. Total railroad time going on 15 years. Playing this game with a xbox controller is harder than running the damn train in real life.

I've had this game for a while on my PS4, and I see youtubers that are able to zoom in to see some of the switches and labels better. Can console players do this as well or is it only for PC?

It was only on PC before Train Sim World 2, but in TSW2 you can do it on PS4 by moving the left joystick forwards

All they needed to do was introduce some form of snap to. Trying to select levers in the cab is like trying to get a bullseye after 10 pints.

Hi Matt, thanks a lot for this tut mate. But recently I'm using a Hori controller, similar to Xbox...I think. And I'm using it with TSW2 and my camera moves inside the cab are much to fast. Almost can't press any button in the cab without overshooting it! Any ideas on that? Thanks again!

There is train sim world founders edition what is just the GWR line on xbox one now it has great graphics it is £25 €24 $30

Please put in general joystick support, so people can use their peripheral of choice. I know people have been bugging you about this for a long time. After checking some documentation on the Unreal engine and consulting with someone I found out it is relatively easy to implement, certainly compared to some of the things that are already in the game. May I ask why it is not there yet?
