my railworks 2 is updated to railworks 3 but i don't have the rain drops on the window and the new lighting, i only have the cab shaking feature. is it because i have a bad computer or something?

It is really. Just since then we've had Railworks...Railworks 2...Railworks 3/TS2012 and now Railworks 4/TS2013. The game is much better now.

@benoittittit It emulates real world physics. And since a single locomotive can weight hundreds of tons, it's not surprising that it doesn't stop as fast as a passenger car ;)

It is not an action game but a sim. So its more like driving the real thing. For e.g. it may look simple. But if u are running a schedule and u have to meet safety requirements u have to follow speed limits and obey track signalling. A sim may look as if boring because it is not about seeing. it is more technical

I was just pointing that sims becomes enjoyable only if u adopt the real life rules while playing them. U can do without..(less enjoyable). U will have to do some research on the lines u play often and even create ur own scenarios. Besides if u enjoy this stuff, go become a real railroader when u are ready..(assuming u are just in school now)

I am aware as to what a Sim is and how this game works, as I actually have played this game. But I asked my uncle up at the train station what he thought and he stated that it's less exciting and interesting than real life and you're not getting paid. So there ya go. I did it ;) There's a setting under graphics where you have to check this little box in the corner to use the TS2012 graphics engine vs your computer's. I got it, thanks anyway.

I have played MSTS, Auran and Train Sim, for some time.U will not find any sim as accurate as real life. Besides, I have played numerous flight sims, Ship sim, and rallye/racing sims.
