Great video. How do you get the DPU sounds for the GEVO to work? Besides the isolation key. Read that in the manual, but I still get no sound from DPUs or trailing units. Along with no bells in the cab when switched to running mode. I know it's probably just something I'm overlooking.

There are DPU units that you place for the engines behind the main one. Sometimes they do bug out.

Ah ok, so after my scenario loads up, I have to replace the ones that are there with the ones that have been programmed to be DPUs. Fair enough.

Try putting the reverser in forward or reverse.

The oil train is real symbol. The others may or may not have been pulled from the master bnsf symbol page.

I wanted to get the Marias pass route but one of the requirements is Stevens pass. I tried looking for it in the store and couldn't find it. Can I still get Stevens pass?

Marias Pass is a standalone route. Stevens is not required for it. Marias Pass isn't available outside of the US because of the BNSF license.

Basically putting the locomotive in Run with the press of the I key turns on the dim setting automatically.

A lot of it from DTG/RSC and the rollingstock is mostly a combination of third party and DLC. Soundpack for the GEVO is from Searchlight Simulations.

Sounds are from Searchlight Simulations for the GE Dash 9,8 and GEVO. The SD40-2 Soundpack is from Oovee and of course the wagon sounds are on RWA.

I was about to order the 2017 Train sim and it is hardly any recommendation to purchase this game. Almost every review was thumbs down!! Hundreds of bad reviews about the game engine and graphics!!! Have anyone played Train Sim 17 what is your opinion?

I can't complain about the graphics as they have changed from the Railworks Era to the Train Simulator Era. The game engine somewhat simulates the physics properly but heavy lua scripting is need sometimes to make things work. It's gotten better over the years though. I'd personally give it a 6 out of 10.
