Destination code 1133 ‘Manceinion Piccadilly’ is the Welsh version. ‘Manceinion’ is Manchester in Welsh.

Tom Maddox yeah, and we'll completely gloss over "Caerdydd Canalog", "Abertawe", "Aberdaugleddau", "Caerloyw", "Caergybi", "Cyffordd Llandudno", "Casnewydd", "Caer", "Cryw", "Amwythig", "Caerfy(r)ddin" and "Wrexham Canalog" 😜 Logically there should also be "Bryste Temple Meads" but no. I guess you were "supposed" to set it to Welsh at one end and English at the other where possible...?

Ships is where it’s at for me, particular ferries and passenger ships. Trains are something I like too. But like yourself anything with an engine I’m a fan of.

I like the Class 175's. When we had one of these units from Barrow, they always got us to our destination with no fuss, even if it was once or twice a year, when we would go and visit relatives in London. I wasn't a big fan of the 185's once they were introduced to replace the 175's, as the seats were a bit firm and the 175's could seat more passengers. The 185's have grown on me though, and I like the look of the refurbished trains that are now entering service.

It's a bug in the game, mostly on this route.

I found it, but changing it to 100% doesn't give you what Alan had. Of course, too many passengers will reduce fps.

Why is Aberystwyth on the destination display code list?! 😂 only 158818-158841 (and 97301-97304) can run on the Cambrian lines!!!

The 175s were built way before this was the case

i know :) so the codes and list are all unchanged since I'm guessing 2006..? (because of the "Arriva Trains Wales" but not any of the other operators they used to be allocated to, being on there) i looked up Class 175 Aberystwyth but didn't really find anything, unfortunately. i moved there in 2002 and to my knowledge it's always been 158s only (that is, since they stopped being mixed in with 156s sometime in the late 90s from what I'm aware) although "clearly" the 175s were cleared pre-ERTMS, I'm guessing for rare cover duties. i like your videos by the way :) was introduced to your channel by the 158 Perkins AP pack review :)

Even now this route is out of date with the new signalling that's took place over the last few months. Wise choice by the way Alan...don't go to Rhyl, there's bugger all there mate...i know, i live there lol
