This a brilliant route and I cannot understand why some on Steam give it a thumbs down, it has so much potential for scenario editing and I particularly like the animated Fork lift truck which loads a Truck at Crewe Steelworks, I think it's the best route I've bought up to date.

Live in Chester, many a memory going from Chester to Euston on the train, but also as a young lad doing the wales coastal route, br class 37's or 55's with the slam door carriages (BR mk2?) takes me back

Just started to create scenarios on this route and one bad thing is there are no portals after Bangor all the way down to Holyhead, they're are never enough portals in routes anytime but to have none must be a massive oversight!

Wonder if they not changed it just in case the license goes again or so that people can use it for early scenarios?

I see there is no discount for us who own the original NWC. If we want the whole route we have to pay another 24.99 (Grand total of 49.98).The original NWC was 24.99 and the extension 9.99 = 34.98.

@@aidenstanley7305 I purchased the original main route (Crewe to Llandudno) which cost me 24.99. I did not buy the extension to Hollyhead as it was removed from sale. Dovetail said because I didn't buy the extension (which I couldn't because it was removed from sale) I do not qualify for the free upgrade. Dovetail expect me to pay another 24.99 when I already own 80% of the route of which I paid 24.99.

Not at present as far as I'm aware. You'd need to ask ATS what their update intentions are going forwards.

I really can not see why people think this route is so good, you need to open your eyes and look at the scenery it's pathetic, it's nothing like that in real life. Anyway I'm using the original North wales route route as the base DLC to do the same but in the 1930's LMS Era, masses of yards, industry MPD's also The GWR MPD at Chester GWR Saltney wagon works, Northgate Station at Chester GCR/LNER line.

Most people it is not for the route but for other freeware routes require this as a requirement

@@euan.4551 I know but that route will not work with my route, it needs the original North Wales Coast which is no longer available.

Sadly we wont be reviewing RWE2. The program is believed to rename files and cause problems for developers such as VP.

We are sorting patches out for the OTS routes. Cumbrian Coast and Non electrified northern lines updates will go live tomorrow. Keep a look out on our OTS facebook for a post once up on site.
