Train Simulator Classic: U-Bahn Hamburg U1

Welcome to this introduction into the U-Bahn Hamburg U1 route. The route has just recently released via the Just Trains and developed by UrbanTrainSim, the developers behind the ever popular Frankfurt U-Bahn 2. The route features 55 km in length (34 miles) of track and no fewer than 47 stations. The 90 minute journey end to end will keep you busy and well entertained. A wealth of rolling stock is provided in terms of a driveable HHA Type DT5 and a number of AI rolling stock such as: DT4, S-Bahn Hamburg Class 474, AKN Class VTA diesel train, Hamburg metro AL2 battery locomotive and DT3N, DT3E & DT3 which can be found around the Farmsen depot.
As a bonus the DT4 is to be provided as a drivable train in a future free update!

Visited Hamburg on an inter railing trip few weeks ago and travelled on part of this network during our visit. Thought it looked good and was enjoyable.

Looks incredible, this would be a instant buy but three standard scenarios just isn't enough considering the amount that came with Frankfurt U Bahn 2.

Further scenarios will be added when the free DT4 update releases in the future.

U-Bahn Frankfurt came with a lot more just because it contained more lines. You can drive back and forth as well in Quick Drive, it will be the same experience.

Quickdrive is very enhanced here. You have announcements, a lot of AI-Trains ( also with train crossings on single line section ) and you also drive into sidings etc. So there isn´t that much difference to standard scenarios. But i´m sure there will be scenarios from the community soon. Take a look at the site from the german railsim community for that

@@airspeed_alive I think the price is more than fair. You got a very long route ( driving time ) with stunning level of detail with a high quality train and even a lot of different Ai trains with correct sound etc. And it's just i little over the standart DTG price. So for me it's a no brainer. But i must say i visited Hamburg very often in my childhood and even today so it's kind of a personal thing for me to. But also without that point of view it's the best addon package for me today for TS

is this like the Heart of Berlin: Hennigsdorf - Teltow Route can't spk for everyone but i would not have minded the full 90 mins i would have watched, will deffo want this route, great route great vid. :) would love to see these kind of routes in tsw 3

Due to some settings issue I can't access the left-sided buttons in the drivers cab on the HHA Type DT5 and access around the cab is fiddly. As such I have to use a different train. What are the correct controller settings for the HHA Type DT5

On the plus side it very a detailed route and one of the few games I have come across which has a decent amount of people on the platforms. On the minus side very pricy at £32.99 and the route is dominated by trees either side from end of the route to the other. Not particularly interesting.
