How is Taipei metro train like ? Wondering how to get from TAOYUAN AIRPORT (TPE) TO TAIPEI CITY CENTRE, TAIWAN ? This is our First Time arriving at Taipei Airport in Taiwan (Taoyuan Airport: 桃园机场) You will find this video helpful for getting an idea on how you can get from Taoyuan Airport : 桃园机场 to Taipei Main station as we show you how to get to the MRT section of the airport, the process of getting metro ticket, how we catch the train to the Taipei City Centre (Taipei Main MRT Station) and also we show you how it looks like along the way to Taipei.
Interested in the most in-depth guide to Seoul? Click here: bit.ly/35FjdxK
Taoyuan airport is not actually in Taipei; it is around 45 minutes west of Taipei, in Taoyuan city. There are numerous modes to reach downtown Taipei from Taoyuan Internartional Airport at different price range. A taxi from the airport to the city center is priced around NT$1000-1200 ( $32.06 USD - $38.47 USD) depending on the traffic and a travel time of 45 minutes. The Airport MRT is currently the fastest way to reach Taipei city centre from the airport and it is cheap as well. We pay 150 NT per person ( $4.81 USD )
Airport Metro: Airport metro also serves as an ideal way of commuting within the city of Taipei. The airport metro provides an easy way to commute from Taipei and Taoyuan by shortening the distance. From Terminal 1, it takes just 35 minutes to reach Taipei Main Station. Whereas, from Terminal 2, the train ride to Taipei Main Station takes around 50 minutes to complete. This is the fastest and best way to commute from the airport to Taipei city for travellers, especially the international ones.

Hi, We are Jimmy and Tah,
American and Thai Millennials left the career in military and finance to become travel story tellers, proving the world that you don't have to be rich to travel well. Met in August, 2015 in South Korea, kicked off traveling in September, 2017 with $4000 in saving account and first started publishing our journey on the way we live the life we have always dreamt of - traveling and being able to work wherever we love ( as long as there is Wi-Fi and coffee)
☼ Currently homeless, live the life out of luggage, travel non-stop, and grow love along the way.
☼ We are deeply into traveling, doing what locals do, managing the budget to travel non-stop, challenging ourselves daily.
☼ Everything we show you here is to not only show you how our world is such an interesting place to explore, but also inspire you to live the life you love especially when you dream of traveling.
Still want to know more about each of us ? : bit.ly/2Un8MsM
Thank you for joining us along this crazy journey

Both lucky to have each other. God bless 💖 May I give you a feedback? Your editing has improved greatly...but I’m not a fan of the music. Too slow and desolate sort of. Divert Living I was in Taipei 2x and the last was on February. I have my daughter who’s study in Tamkang University in Lanyang Campus (by chance she just left home in Bali this afternoon after few weeks vacations). See the noodles that you took cost $ 2.60. In Bali where we have much lower income (around 6-8 times less than Taiwan), that kind of noodle cost pretty much same. Bobba in Bali cost $ 2.10 while for the same size in Taiwan you could get $ 1.80 Good luck and enjoy your time in Taipei 👍🙏

Somewheredoingstuff Have you been to Taipei and if yes which is better Taipei subway or Seoul ?
@tocrest4405
@tocrest4405 4 жыл бұрын
@@morphix007 disagreed. A few points, 1.Taiwan MRT carriage cars are way more cleaner. 2.schedule info - Taiwan MRT system shows when the next one is coming. 3.simple and clear route - Taiwan MRT, 1 color, 1 route. Blue line in Seoul has 2 routes - stupid and ridiculous. Just assign 2 colors. Refer to the route map below. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Seoul_Subway_Line_1#/media/File:Seoul_Subway_Line_1_(ENG).svg I took blue line in Seoul a few years ago and thought how stupid and ridiculous it is to have 2 different routes in one blue line. The worst is after we realized it took the different path from we had in mind, we got off the subway(above ground actually) and tried to go back before the split to take the correct one. Another ridiculous thing is to get to the other side of the platform, you need to pay for another ticket since you need to get through another gate. Maybe all these confusion is by design. A good way for Korean government to make extra money.

Unfortunately and due to Taipei's (actually Taiwan's as a whole) location the earthquakes are almost as common over there as heavy rainstorms. (you see evacuation signs almost everywhere) I guess this is one of the reasons why you see that many new buildings... Otherwise it is a great place to visit, no doubt about it.

@robinlin5093
@robinlin5093 5 жыл бұрын
Actually there has not been epidemic earthquakes happened in Taipei until now. In average, most buildings have been existing for more than 20 years, and even over 40 years in a large portion among them. However, the geographical base of Taipei is rather "fragile" due to "mud-like" basin, we always need to prepare in advannce on how to react and where to hide when eathquake happens.
