early morning train trip on XPT from Nambucca to St Mary's. $17 one way. Lunch with coffee. smallest bathroom ever. So many tunnels. comfortable seats.

If you're on a NSW Pension, you receive 4 single (2 return) trips per year in Economy, and the upgrade is well worth it. These vouchers are 'loaded' into the Countrylink system on the first of January each year, so you don't receive them in the mail any more :)
