The TrainTenna from DPD Productions is a great antenna you didn't mention. I currently own it and it works great. I hear train transmissions from all over the State of Oklahoma and beyond depending on the weather. I also own the Smiley 5/8 Antenna which I use when my Bearcat BC125AT in my home. It does a great job for portable work.

You didn’t mention the Train Tenna. I hope it’s a good antenna, because mine will be delivered in a couple days.
