TRAINING DAY ON THE SUPER TENERE

I finally got out and practiced u-turns, circles and weaving in and out between cones. My Training day on the super tenere finally arrived.

Great job.. cheap cone option: tennis balls cut in half… can store 10-12 in one tennis ball tube.

I've been in some heavy traffic yesterday, did 2km in about 40 min and that was with the bike on crawling half a meter at a time. The fan kicked in non stop, barely stoped working. But every time it cooled the engine, never had a warning light.

I'm going to flush out the system and see if that helps.

you probably lack coolant. It never happened to me, and there were conditions for it. The fan must be able to cool the engine if there is enough fluid. Also, when you turn off the motorcycle and the fan is running, I suggest that after about 15-30 seconds you turn it on for a few seconds so that the cooled liquid in the radiator mixes with the one that is not. That way you will speed up the cooling of the engine. When you do that, you will notice how the engine temperature quickly drops by several degrees.

I don't know why I never posted the video. The road was fun but I did drop the bike twice. The second time it really hurt. It was raining the entire time and the road was very muddy. My tires were so filled with mud that it suddenly slid over and threw me off the bike. Overall, the trip was fun.
