Roche in Penzberg is currently training 300 apprentices or students in 8 different professions and courses of study. With more than 6,400 employees, the plant is one of the largest biotech centres in Europe and forms the world's largest biotechnology research, development and production centre within the Roche Group. Penzberg is also an important global headquarters for development and production within the Roche Group's diagnostics business.
