Guidance in the connection of the TM17DCLWTH (remote display) to a Modicon M172 via Modbus Serial. In this example the display is the master and the plc is the slave.

Hola Tomás! ya me hice casi todo tu curso del M172 y realmente me ha ayudado mucho. Te quería preguntar además si conoces o has producido algún tutorial donde se pueda ver paso a paso como grabar con el M172 datos de variables internas y estructurarlos en una SD card. Muchas gracias! Saludos!!

Buenas! Tengo una libreria hecha hace unos años de como grabar datos en una sd card, no recuerdo el nombre correcto de la libreria del sistema que use para hacerlo (creo FS_ISC o algo asi pero esta en el folder de las librerias no añadido al projecto por defecto) pero puedo volver si funciona con la ultima version del software y trabajar en un video para mostrarlo. Estate atento a las notificaciones. Saludos

Is it possible to use boolean PLC variable in Button control on HMI Display? So basic normal such a HMI function, it means when the HMI button is pressed the boolean PLC variable is toggled (or set, or reset). When @PLC.xCmd variable is chosen in "Press variable" field the compilation error A4097-Obejct not found appears.

Hi there! I will check this but as far as i know there is a toggle option on the buttons in the m172d , another solution is to use procedures using video_getparam and video_setparam

Hi there, i recommend you to check the reference of the display not all have the embedded sensors. If yours has then try to update the firmware using the latest version of the software esme hvac 1.6.0 (at the moment)

Hi, I have a little problem when the remote LCD is connected via Modbus rtu , everything is ok , but when I disconnect the modbus connection , the latest data freezes on the 172 screen , how to do zeroing when there is no communication connection . In other controllers there is a setting , to keep or reset the data , in 172 I did not find this . Thanks .

Hi There! I have check the M172D connected to a M172P. When i disconnect the modbus cable the values on the display M172D goes to "?????" and when i connect the cable again the values take the right information.

@@LeTomasAHUMADA my fault apparently I explained it badly, I get the data from 172D (Rh, t) and watch them on the 172P screen.

ahhh okay okay. I did the test and you are right. Once you lost communication with a device the information that you are reading is kept. In other PLCs in Schneider we have the option to select to "Set to zero" or "Keep last value". In the Machine Expert HVAC it looks like the only option is the "Keep last value" as a workaround you can check the SYSMBMRTUNODESTATUS[*].miss to check the disconnection where * is the Node Number so when this value is TRUE you can assign the value 0 to another variable to show in the display using MOVE. Probably you can contact the support team of Schneider in your country for a better answer.
