is there any difference between Training needs assessment and Training needs analysis, as I always answer with no during interview but from interviewer reaction , I think I'm wrong ?

Eng NANa I rarely hear or read about Training Needs Assessment. I think both of them are used interchangeably. This is a process to determine the needs or "gaps" between current conditions and desired conditions. Just my 2 cents.
