I love your methods on neck reining!!! After a couple of hours i could see I change in how my horse responded to neck reining!! I just wish I could find the next video after this one so I can start teaching the pivot. Thank you soo much!! You are very helpfull and kind in your methods.

@horselover101x For this video the presenter is using a basic snaffle bit to show several training aids and procedures. Most young horses are started out in a snaffle bit.

This is a great video! My 6yo TN walker gelding is extremely stubborn, but he actually responds well to the steps shown in this video. Thanks!

I'm just starting western (one handed riding). I understand the basics of neck reigning, putting pressure on the neck and guiding with legs, are there any things that I should know? Like tips about how much loose reign I should have or anything? I'd love some advice!

nice video, I'll try it with my radical mare, just a question: sometimes she stays against my leg (usually when she's in heat) do you have an exercice that can help me to resolve that problem?

@autumnobuchowski hahaha! yeahm it works great! my latest analogy was: problem with riders these days is that they learn how to ride but they dunno zit about how a horse works! it's the same as a pro mountain biker who doesn't know how to tune his own bike's breaks or get a loose chain back in place! he's not gonna get far before breaking himself or the bike! (or both)
