I kinda look at it like he DID win 5, cos when that sack slipped off the platform into the ocean, that was a 1 in 10,000 stroke of bad luck. Shaw was definitely the strongest that year. But shit happens. Kinda like when Thor decided, mid event, to scream into the camera and play up the crowd, costing him not only 1st place in the event but the overall win as well! (DOH!).

@bulletproof1581
@bulletproof1581 Жыл бұрын
Yes he should be focusing on speed, but the way he's doing it is all wrong. He's been taking this same approach since the weights were lowered in comps and he's been sub best ever since. Brian needs to go back to being bigger and lifting the heaviest weight he can lift, also get rid of the sprinting in between loading event training. He should get in touch with a legit sprint coach, give them info on what he's already doing for training, and create an add on with proper sprint drills to make him faster. He needs to go on a cut and become super lean so he weighs as little as he can, then start his strongman training whilst doing his sprint drills so his body can comfortably adjust, after 2 weeks of starting sprint drills he then starts his super bulk whilst keeping the sprint drills in. If Brian needs to move fast enough he needs to properly get himself to move fast enough.

Tip for Brian but I don’t think he’ll ever see this: when you are sprinting back to implements your torso is very upright and you running with ‘high’ knees. It may be beneficial to lean forward into the sprint to use your body weight to accelerate and if you are leant over forward you can possibly put one hand down onto the implements and use it as a pivot point to turn around quicker and be in a good position to pick them up. Really wanna see number 5!!

@@RealJKal He isn't running optimally. You would also think that with his background in high school and D1 college basketball that he would be more laterally coordinated at that size but he isn't. With running form training, he could improve all the stutter stepping, and gain more power per stride and get places quicker. Also, the pivot foot is a good tip. He should pick it up easily, as the aforementioned college basketball background would help.
@andreww.376

My guess is it has to do with his size and the extra weight of the objects on his chest. If he leaned forward at his height with all that extra weight up high, he may be more likely to trip and fall forward.

All I want for XMAS is to watch Brian make the young boys earn whatever they get. That is why Brian will ALWAYS be a champion. He trains like he is defending his title. Love every minute of it.
